The variable power scope mounts weigh in at just 5.5 ounces and are manufactured with the same quality and durability you've come to expect from all Daniel Defense products.

Excellent optic mountOverall the mount is superb in fit and finish and in durability. One recommendation is to make replacement top halves for the mount that have the hole pattern for micro red dot sights such as the RMR etc. Adding the ability to “piggy back” red dots would put this mount at the top of the market.

Outstanding scope mountI have one of these on my DD5 V4 Hunter and it's of the highest quality and seems virtually indestructible! I bit pricey but you get the Daniel Defense quality.

Pricey, but no regrets!I like to buy made in the USA and this was one of the few mounts of this type at my local shop. I initially relied on the name to inspire trust, but after installing (torque instructions on the base) I was impressed with the product. I wish it was cheaper as I'd buy more of them, but for now it is reserved for my favorite AR10 and AR15.
