The Daniel Defense Omega Rail is a premium upgrade to AR’s with plastic handguards and is now available with the KeyMod or M-LOK attachment system. Its free float design allows the individual operator to install it with the Allen Wrench provided and requires ZERO modification to the weapon! It ships with the MFR Rail (M-LOK) QD Sling Mount with integral rotation limiter, allowing users to mount a sling to either side of the rail system. This light weight, ergonomic rail system is meticulously CNC machined from Aircraft Grade Aluminum and is Military Specification Type III Hard Coat Anodized. All the Omega Rail fasteners are military specification.
The Omega Rail 7.0 is designed to work with Carbine AR-15 gas systems.

I LOVE THIS RAIL!This completely changed the look of my AR. Yes, it is a bit expensive. But the ease of installation and the dramatic change it gives to the look of your rifle is so worth it. The feel of the rail when shooting is superb. The construction of the rail is top-tier. There is a reason why Daniel Defense is considered one of the best in the business. If your debating about buying this rail to ditch your heat-shield hang guard. Debate no more! JUST BUY THE DAMN THING. ITS WORTH IT!

You won't be disappointedThis replaced an Omega 7.0 picatinny version and I wasn't disappointed. Same fit and finish, of course with a slimmer profile, as the picatinny version. Had reservations of having only 2 screws holding the two halves together at the front, but haven't encountered any shifting or separations and am confident the fit will remain solid.
